Economic Development Action Plan

The City of Burien has developed an economic development action plan. City staff and advisory board members worked together to build consensus on priority actions that will help improve the economic vitality of our community.

The action plan contains specific economic development goals, strategies, and implementation measures as well as an implementation plan, outlining the timing, anticipated cost, and funding source of each implementation action.

The final plan was adopted on June 3, 2024.
