The City of Burien proposes to amend the Burien Municipal Code and update the official zoning map of the City that aims to expand the number and type of housing units permitted and encourage housing development in residential areas across the city. Proposals would also allow neighborhood commercial uses based on criteria in order to support a walkable community and service needs.
