We’ll walk through the draft code amendments section by section, explain the intent behind the proposed regulations, highlight what’s changed throughout the planning process, and answer questions along the way. Whether you’ve been following the project from the beginning or are just tuning in, this is a great opportunity to better understand the proposal before the upcoming Planning Commission public hearing.
With the U.S. Men’s National Team kicking off its World Cup match at 5:00 p.m., we don’t want anyone to have to choose between soccer and zoning tomorrow evening. So, we’re offering a second Virtual Code Amendments Walkthrough on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. Both sessions will cover the same material, so feel free to join whichever date works best for you.
Following the walkthroughs, the Planning Commission Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, where the Commission will receive public testimony and is anticipated to make a recommendation to the City Council. The draft code will be published as part of the Planning Commission packet ahead of the meeting.
